FREE Equine-cofacilitated psychotherapy group for military women with PTSD & MST
STARTING UP AGAIN SOON!
Check us out at:
We currently meet the last Friday of every month! *(Excluding holiday weeks, and extreme heat advisories). We meet at a nonprofit barn, in New Port Richey, that is home to rescue equines. This gives the rescues, largely trauma survivors themselves, a new purpose, and provides sustainability for all involved!
Equine co-facilitated psychotherapy is an efficient method to address various psychological issues, including symptoms of PTSD/MST. (see www.eagala.org for more information, research, or to view a Dr Phil show on this exciting technology).
All work is done on the ground, so no prior experience with horses is required, or desired. Type Eagala in You Tube for video presentations, and see Equusolutions.com for testimonials.
Trained & certified mental health professionals, equine specialists, externs, volunteers, and a therapy dog comprise the treatment team; mother nature is the therapy office.
